The Anambra State Police Command yesterday dismissed as flawed allegations by the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) that nine of its members were among the 30 corpses found at the Ezu River in the state.
Addressing journalists yesterday, the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Balla Nasarawa described the allegation that his command arrested nine members of MASSOB and secretly executed them as false and unfortunate.
He further said that MASSOB members arrested by the police were charged to court and were currently being remanded in various prisons across the state. More»
